The WB Pictures team has longtime experience with production processes of commercial spots, film and TV productions, as well as the organisation of events in England, Germany, Austria, Spain, and Switzerland. We speak German, English, Spanish, Catalan and French.

It is part of our company’s concept to have an employment agency for creative people and film technicians, but also an agency for extras. Thus, we have quick access to a broad pool of professionals in order to fill desired jobs.

Moreover, we have a rich and gradually growing archive of documented locations at our disposal.

Meret Wirz Burger

Growing up on Mallorca as the daughter of a photographer and an actor/director, Meret was present since birth at photo shoots, in theatres, on film sets and on location scouting trips. She recognised her great passion for film early, earning her living as a law student by providing location management and production services.

Starting in 1995, Meret expanded her film activities to various European countries. One of them was Swizerland, where she studied film direction and screenwriting at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) beginning in 1999. Her graduation film “Alle meine Mütter (All My Mothers)” won the audience and short film awards in Lausanne, among others. 16 copies of it were subsequently screened by Fox Warner in Swiss cinemas as the supporting film to Jim Sheridan’s “In America”.

Among others, she worked on the television films “Spital in August” (SF/ZDF/ORF) (production management) and “Alles wird gut” (SF) (production management), as well as the feature films “Mein Name ist Eugen” (production management), “Cargo” (production consulting), “Bon Appetit” (production management, Swiss shoot) and “Dällebach Kari” (production management, pre-production).

Some examples of Meret’s own productions are the TV documentaries “La soupe culturelle, la soupe magique” (SF, ZDF Theaterkanal) and ” Kugel oder Scheibe” (Sternstunde SF / Kreuz und Quer ORF) as well as the co-production of the feature film “Love Made Easy” by Peter Luisi.

Additional exciting projects included the “Informant” Zurich shoot (unit manager, location scouting and extra coordination) as well as complete service production for the scenes in David Fincher’s film “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” which were shot in Switzerland.
